The IGCS Global Humanitarian Award recognizes outstanding individuals, organizations or programs who work to improve access to quality gynecologic oncology services in resource-limited settings.
Nomination Form
When making a nomination, the nominator will be asked to write a brief essay explaining why they feel that this individual, organization, or program should be considered for the IGCS Global Humanitarian Award, highlighting their work to leading to improved access to quality gynecologic oncology services in resource-limited settings.
The nominator may wish to include information about:
The regions, countries, or communities that have been impacted by the humanitarian efforts of the nominee.Innovative approaches or solutions the nominee introduced to enhance gynecologic cancer care in these areas.Contributions to educational initiatives, advocacy, capacity building, public perception, and/or policy changes.Collaborations or partnerships the nominee has established with international organizations, governments, or non-profits to enhance their humanitarian efforts and how those collaborations contributed to the success of their initiatives.Eligibility to Nominate
Only active members of the IGCS are eligible to make a nomination for organizational awards. Non-members may complete the nomination form on behalf of an active IGCS member if they enter the name of the IGCS member responsible for the nomination in the nominator section of the form.Self-nominations are accepted.Eligibility to be Awarded
IGCS Members and non-members are eligible to receive this award.Previous IGCS award recipients are not eligible to be nominated for any other IGCS award for a period of 5 years.Individuals or organizations who received an IGCS award at any time in the past may not be considered for the same award at any time.Current IGCS Board Members are not eligible to be nominated.Nomination Deadline
