The IGCS Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes IGCS Members who have demonstrated outstanding service, excellence, and achievement spanning a career in service of advancing the field of gynecologic oncology.
Nomination Form
When making a nomination, the nominator will be asked to write a brief essay explaining why they feel that the individual should be considered for the IGCS Lifetime Achievement Award, highlighting their accomplishments and contributions to the field of gynecologic oncology over an extended period spanning their career.
The nominator may wish to include:
- How the individual’s work has made a lasting impact on the field of gynecologic oncology (or beyond).
- Examples of innovations or advancements the nominee introduced or contributed to affecting the growth and evolution of the field of gynecologic oncology.
- Significant leadership roles, awards received, and the impact the nominee has had on their colleagues and the community.
- Significant partnerships and collaborations the individual has undertaken throughout their career, contributing to their legacy.
Eligibility to Nominate
- Only active members of the IGCS are eligible to make a nomination for organizational awards.
- Non-members may complete the nomination form on behalf of an active IGCS member if they enter the name of the IGCS member responsible for the nomination in the nominator section of the form.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Eligibility to be Awarded
- Only IGCS Members are eligible to receive the IGCS Lifetime Achievement Award. Please check the IGCS Member Directory to determine the membership status of those you may wish to nominate.
- Previous IGCS award recipients are not eligible to be nominated for any other IGCS award for a period of 5 years.
- Individuals or organizations who received an IGCS award at any time in the past may not be considered for the same award at any time.
- Current IGCS Board Members are not eligible to be nominated.
